Queens Transit Scene. Metropolitan Transportation Authority - MTA NYCT Subway R-62s 1706 (towards Times Square) and 1815 (towards Main Street) meet at the opening to the portal that leads to the Flushing-Main Street Station in Flushing, New York, the terminal of the 7/Flushing Line, on the evening of May 27, 2011. Below the elevated structure, an Orion V sits at the traffic light on Roosevelt Avenue while heading back to the Casey Stengel Bus Depot. Since then, the R-62s have been transferred to other lines as Communications-Based Train Control (or CBTC) was installed and R-188s equipped with compatible equipment are now used and the Orion Vs are all retired.
