“Room with a View”
MMID 2060 plus three SD40-2s haul Maryland Midland’s UBHF west, past what looks to be some prime railfan real estate in Keymar, along the former Western Maryland Railway East Subdivision. Thirty nine loads (about 5500 trailing tons) from the Lehigh Cement plant in Union Bridge will be delivered to the CSX interchange at Highfield.
The hint of rail at the lower right is a remnant of a spur that served the W.F. Cover & Son feed mill in the WM era. |
