History is made on the RF&P Subdivision as the first train being led by an engine without cab signals since the recent suspension of the use of this technology makes the journey down the line. After the suspension of cab signal usage on the RF&P, we can expect to see more of this as the older engines, foreign power, EMDs, and others will be able to lead without having to adhere to the cab signal requirement that had been in place.
