| The Oensingen-Balsthal Railway (OeBB) celebrated its 125th anniversary on the weekend of June 15/16, 2024. On this occasion, several special trains free for the public circulated between Balsthal and Oensingen and vice versa. The half-hourly scheduled trains on the S22 line were operated with the so-called reserve shuttle on this day. This push-pull train with cab car ABDt # 197 formerly Südostbahn/DSF, intermediate car "Jumbo" formerly BLS and locomotive Re 4/4 III # 11350 (Re 430 # 350) arrives in Thalbrücke as train 26040 from Balsthal to Oensingen. |
