On May 17th, 2024, the Creative Rail Services PABCO Gypsum Train, powered two FarmRail EMD GP10s, starts down the hill on the north end of the Fibreboard Spur while shoving sheetrock loads towards the UP Interchange in Apex, Nevada. An 18-wheeler does same doing the same via the adjacent PABCO Road.
Creative Rail Services' PABCO Gypsum Train operates on Union Pacific's (UP) former 11.5-mile 'Fibreboard Spur.' This line runs between the UP interchange along the Caliente Subdivision in Apex, Nevada, and PABCO Gypsum's manufacturing and mining plant in eastern Las Vegas, Nevada. The railroad utilizes two FarmRail EMD GP10s, FMRC 8267 & FMRC 8180, both of which were in the process of being prepped for repaint when these photos were taken.
