"Curving Past Sloan's History (Tunnel to Open Cut)"

On the morning of May 15th, 2024, a Union Pacific coal train curves around the abandoned tunnel in Sloan, Nevada, via an open cut as it heads east along the Cima Subdivision (The Salt Lake Route), just 18 miles southwest of Las Vegas.
