        Remarks & Notes
        "The Mirage-Treasure Island Tram"

On the hot evening of May 16th, 2024, The Mirage-Treasure Island Tram crosses Siren's Cove Blvd on the way to The Mirage casino resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Mirage-Treasure Island Tram was a 1,000-foot-long (300 m) people mover connecting the adjacent Las Vegas Strip casinos "The Mirage" and "Treasure Island". Built by VSL International and Lift Engineering & Mfg. Co (Yan Lift) in 1993, the single two-car train ran on an elevated track along Mel Tormé Way, taking about 90 seconds for a one-way trip. The tram, which was free to ride, was a remnant from when The Mirage and Treasure Island shared the same owner. Unfortunately, it ceased operation at the end of June 2024, just a few weeks before the closure of The Mirage Casino. The Mirage property is set to reopen in 2027 as the Hard Rock Casino, but there are no plans to resume operation of the tram.
