Remarks & Notes

A head-on view of SP 9282 west operating on the former Southern Pacific Port Lavaca sub. Track speed must have been relatively low, as I have multiple photos of this train between Victoria and Placedo. The fact that US-87 ran parallel to the tracks didn't hurt, either. It's Texas, so the cowboy hat worn by the engineer is very appropriate!
