| Amtrak Regional on Outer Track: While Amtrak trains can be routed to the outside tracks from time to time as needed, Regional Train #129 spends much of its daily weekday journey through New Jersey on the outside Track #4 as it is one of the few Amtrak Regional trains to make station stops at New Brunswick and Princeton Junction. Having just departed New Brunswick, it is seen here picking up speed southbound through County Interlocking. In the background, new buildings can be seen being constructed amid New Brunswick's skyscape. On the hind end of the train is AMTK 654 (ACS-64). |
