Only place in Southern California you can get a freight train crossing world famous Pacific Coast Highway is right here in El Segundo, CA. Rail Link is Genesee & Wyoming's contract-switching service. They operate the Chevron switching jobs within the Chevron Refinery in El Segudno, as well as out on the UP El Sengundo Industrial Lead (where they are seen here) and the BNSF Harbor Sub (which the train's rear is entering at an unseen switch). Power consists of this GP38-2, an SW1500 and a Genset, but the GP38-2 seems to be the preferred unit.
