Port Authority Trans-Hudson (PATH) tamper no. 2, a Plasser American model Metro 4x4, is seen at Newark Penn Station on its way back from a job site to the yard. The Metro 4x4 model is specifically designed for rapid transit loading gauge, which is often significantly more restrictive than standard railroad loading gauge. |
