MGA, Monongahela Railway GP38 2002, at Brownsville, Pennsylvania. August 9, 1988. Jack D Kuiphoff ? photo ---- Just a little info on the MGA GP38's. They (5) were ordered by the MGA in 1969. Since they were primarily used for coal traffic, they were ballasted, and are the heaviest GP38's ever built.
