The unique ATSF "Beep" sits silently on display at the Western American Railroad Museum at Barstow's Amtrak station. This experimental rebuild combined a Baldwin VO-1000 with EMD Geep mechanics. It was the only one of its type to be built, and lasted in service into the 2000s.
