After receiving a fresh crew, BNSF Railway Guaranteed Service Intermodal train Q-ATGLAC6-29A rolls west through Placentia on its way to Los Angeles CA from Atlanta GA. This train has two Norfolk Southern AC44C6Ms up front (NS 4541 and 4786), along with BNSF ES44C4 8210 and Montana Rail Link SD70ACe 4319 (now part of BNSF as of January 1st, and the former BHP – an Australian mining company – 4309 "Gidgi"). As of January 1, 2024, Montana Rail Link became a part of the BNSF Railway. This train has 103 cars (102 of them loaded), stretches for 9,862-feet … and is "only" 39 hours 44 minutes late.
