Western Maryland FA2 303 emerges like a forgotten relic from the undergrowth surrounding the out of service Georges Creek Railroad trackage. With the closure of the railroad's only customer, the future was unknown for this locomotive and line. As of 2024, WM 303 has been relocated to Kansas City for restoration and the Georges Creek right of way has been purchased for use by the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad.
