| CP 8939 is the first Canadian locomotive to arrive at this place that is not special, heritage or steam like the recent visit of "Empress 2816". A failure on KCSM 4720 the day before was the cause of this change, so CP 8939 and KCSM 4721 took the executive train "El Mexica" to complete its itinerary. Since the CPKC fusion, the Valley of Mexico Railway Terminal has KCS or CP locomotives for its trains. |
