On a picture-perfect September morning, Amtrak train 52 (Auto Train) is heading North passing over Powell's Creek in Leesylvania State Park on the final stretch of the overnight run from Sanford, FL to Lorton, VA. Just a few days later on September 9th, the P40 locomotives were replaced by the new Siemens Chargers as the primary power for this flagship train.
