Remarks & Notes

Complementing DLW 2454. This car was once a subscription only premium service commuter car. It was retired in 1984 along with the rest of the DL&W fleet, and today is a coach at the Whippany Railway Museum. On this day, it made its inaugural return to Hoboken after a 40 year absence. While at the event, Artist Sara Noda painted a picture of former Delaware, Lackawanna, and Western Railroad electric MU 2454.
