| The Past Half-Century on Staten Island.
Staten Island Railway (SIR) R44 car 414 is the lead unit on an eastbound train seen passing the color position light signals west of Clifton Station on its way to Tottenville. These cars have been serving the island for the last 51 years, though their end is looming as the first of their replacements have entered service. |
