Go Shopping In New Hope. For a few years, the New Hope Railroad offered an "Autumn Shopper's Special" that operated round trips between New Hope and the platform of SEPTA Warminster Station. On October 16, 2011, NHRR 8202 (née-CR 6004, C39-8, GE, 7/1986) was the power for this train, which included a power car and three former Reading coaches. Though famously sister unit NHRR 8212 was the last General Electric C39-8 to operate with its own prime mover (we see you NS 1000), NHRR 8202 also traveled the rails of the NH&I for a while, and also shows its Conrail heritage. The train is seen passing the former Reading Company station in Rushland, Pennsylvania.
