During the afternoon of September 6th, 2024, The Metro North/ Department of Transportation Geometry Train, with CTDOT/CTrail Brookville BL20GHM 129 leading, passes by the recently renamed Fairfield-Black Rock station in Fairfield, Connecticut while heading west down the New Haven Line towards Stamford Yard. The train traversed all of Metro-North's mainline track while the Federal Railroad Administration's (FRA) former Metroliner DOTX 216 inspection railcar, collected geometry data reports for the FRA and US Department of Transportation.
