During the early morning hours of September 5th, 2024, The Metro North/ Department of Transportation Geometry Train, with CTDOT/CTrail Brookville BL20GHM 129 leading, passes CP 257 on the New Haven Line, in East Bridgeport, Connecticut. The train traversed all of Metro-North's mainline track while the the Federal Railroad Administration's (FRA) former Metroliner DOTX 216 inspection railcar, collected geometry data reports for the FRA and US Department of Transportation.
