| A loaded ore train out of Minntac Mine near Mountain Iron is back on the move at Allen Jct. after meeting an empty. The 3 tired ex-CNW C40's smoke as they get over 13,000 tons of fresh pellet going again as they cross the Partridge River. The train is bound for Two Harbors where the ore will be loaded on a boat. The CN has been using these trios of C40's on this route for awhile, but by the end of 2024 newer GEs are replacing these old girls'. |
