The IMRL and IC&E both ran a lot of the Mason City traffic off the Cornlines on Mason City to Marquette trains. IMRL trains were #378s, and the IC&E trains were MCMQs. Here, an MCMQ passes MP 89 at Charles City, 89 miles from the destination at Marquette. I got a lot of shots over the years at this great depot location, but in 2021, this depot was moved and saved to another location. This location is now near the new CN connection to the CP.
