| I have yardmastered a few times in my career, so I've seen a thing or two. This is what full yard looks like at Mason City for the CPKC. Yeah I know what you are thinking....Granted I don't see the "big picture" but there wasn't room enough to get a 112 car K39 yarded, so they spent 2 hours shoving the train 5 miles north of town on the Owatonna Sub and leaving it. This KM-31 crew is putting B40's inbound train away in like 7 different spots... I know nothing would come or go for the next 20 hours after this from the east....2023 railroading at its finest...barely breathing! |
