Eastern Idaho GP40-3 WAMX 4041 (ex-HLCX GP40-3 4401, ex-HLCX 3111, ex-KYLE 3111, ex-CR 3093, ex-PC 3093, née-NYC GP40 3093) in a special 20th anniversary paint scheme at the railroad's shops in Rupert, ID. When we got there the doors were open and a maintenance truck was parked in front of the unit. The mechanic was replacing an oil filter and had dropped a couple of them. I asked him is I could help him and handed the dropped filters up to him so he did not have to get off the locomotive. I asked him how long he was going to be and he told me a few more minutes and he would close all the doors and move his truck. (Rupert, Idaho – September 16, 2024).
