| We had high hopes for an early crew to cab to Salina and pull cars from the UP. Unfortunately, the KYLE has parked a Glen Elder grain train at Solomon that UP didn't move for 2 days. That delay caused this guy to be pushed back all day and didn't get very far by the time they got out. Here the 90 car train pulls out to MP 4 on the Solomon Sub to pick up the conductor. We would catch up with this train tomorrow morning, 15 hours later, 77 miles farther at the end of the line at Downs. Slow and ease does the KYLE. |
