    Remarks & Notes
Grand Canyon Railway's daily passenger train departs the old Santa Fe station at Grand Canyon Village, on the South Rim of the spectacular Grand Canyon. This 2-8-2 was built by Baldwin in August 1923 as Chicago Burlington & Quincy 4960, and at age 81 the Mikado continues operating as GCRX 4960, albeit with an assist from a pair of MLW-built FB-4 diesels.
