On the afternoon of September 9th, 2024, Amtrak Extra 88, utilizing a Springfield Shuttle set, heads west past the station at Stratford, Connecticut on the New Haven Line. The extra was on their way to assist Amtrak Regional 93, which gapped at the East Bridgeport Phase Break.
