The Santa Train At 77. Thousands of people, if not tens of thousands, braved the driving rain to come out to see the 2019 CSX Santa Train (P936-23) 5 years ago today on Saturday, November, 23, 2019. It featured Marty Stuart and the debut of the return of the Clinchfield Railroad 100 business car for the 77th yearly run of this train in a day filled with smiling faces and happy children. Little did we know what was ahead for the world, but after a two year absence, the train would return in 2022 to become an annual tradition again. This would also mark the last year of the current paint scheme on the F40s, which would subsequently be repainted into a Baltimore & Ohio Railroad heritage scheme.
