On the morning of September 18th, 2024, The Long Island/ Department of Transportation Geometry Train, led by EMD DE30AC 420, passes the station at Plandome, New York on the Port Washington Branch. The train traversed all of Long Island Rail Road's mainline track while the the Federal Railroad Administration's (FRA) former Metroliner DOTX 216 inspection railcar, collected geometry data reports for the FRA and US Department of Transportation.
