| The "Train du Désert" in the middle of nowhere of the Mauritanian desert, on the today about 6 hours journey from Ben Amira (PK 393) to Boulenouar (PK 96). Behind the GPL-15T BB # 207 is the doubledeck saloon car, the former diesel railcar A2n # 001 built in 1982 bei Cafici in Italy and in Mauritania since 1997. Behind is a former czech passenger car, rebuilt to a couchette coach. In the rear are two empty ore cars serving as brake cars. The two passenger cars have no brake any more. |
