On the night of December 8th, 2024, an NHS crew brings the east pair of Metro-North Railroad's "Holiday Lights Train" (9261/9260) back to rest of the consist after an hour of repairs at the "M2" shop in New Haven Yard. The Holiday Lights Train is a specially decorated, 8-car Kawasaki M8 consist operating on all electrified portions of the Harlem, New Haven, and Hudson Lines throughout the remainder of the holiday season.
