Down The Ramp In Gary. On the morning of January 30, 2021, a 5-car Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District/South Shore Line Train 202 led by NICD 106 (Nippon-Sharyo, 2001) heads towards Chicago, Illinois. As the train approaches the first crossing west of the Gary, Indiana station, Harrison Street it navigates a tight turn which would give the illusion that the train is heading straight for the photographer, who is in fact a safe distance from the tracks near another section where the tracks will curve again.
