| Brick Tunnel.
A northbound Franklin Avenue Shuttle train emerges from the brick tunnel under Eastern Parkway. This is one of the oldest tunnels in the New York City Subway system, originally built in 1878 as part of the Brooklyn, Flatbush and Coney Island Railway linking Downtown Brooklyn to Coney Island. |
