Gold in the Gloaming | With just a hint of daylight remaining in the sky, northbound CPKC intermodal train I181 crosses the Illinois River just north of Watts, OK on the evening of Saturday, February 1, 2025. The headlights on the lead locomotive cast a brilliant golden glow on the dormant trees lining the tracks ahead, contrasting nicely with the deep blue above.
