In a rare move in the 2020s, AMTK 519, a dash 8, leads the westbound Amtrak Cardinal along the Buckingham Branch over the trestle in Woolen Mills, in the eastern end of Charlottesville, Virginia.
With Northeast Regional trains, Auto Train and long distance service to Florida, New Orleans and Chicago, a lot of train riding and train watching can be had.
