| The new “Schmitten GR Landwasser Viaduct” stop was built directly adjacent to the 137-metre-long and 35-metre-high Schmittentobel Viaduct and will be served by the new “Viaduct Shuttle” train between Filisur and Alvaneu from mid-May 2025. From the stop, it takes less than 5 minutes to reach the “Hennings” vantage point with its outstanding view of the landmark of the Albula line, the 65-metre-high and 136-metre-long Landwasser Viaduct built in 1902. Freight train 5129 from Chur freight yard to Pontresina is crossing the Schmittentobel viaduct and passing the new stop.
