| Amtrak's class Dash 8 leads the Borealis through Hastings. Due to toilet freezing difficulties with the Horizon cars, Amtrak has been forced to use Amfleet and Superliner sets for the Borealis recently. They also continue to be plagued with locomotive challenges, and the typically yard assigned B32-8WHs have been a common sight on the Borealis throughout the winter. |
