Remarks & Notes

East bounds out of Las Vegas face a long trip through a lot of nothing. However, there is some amazing scenery along the former LA&SL, now Union Pacific's Caliente Sub. After passing through Rainbow Canyon and the Meadow Valley Wash, then the small town of Caliente, trains enter Barnes Canyon with some impressive landscape.
