With its headlight dimmed and its ditch lights turned off, BNSF train S-OMASCO1-26A (Intermodal Stacks; Omaha NE to Long Beach CA) passes through Fullerton Junction (where Metrolink’s line to San Diego splits off BNSF’s Transcon) on Track 1 and has dimmed its lights as the eastbound BNSF S-LHGMEM1-03A (Intermodal Stacks; Los Angeles Harbor [GGS] to Memphis TN) is sitting on Track 2, and eastbound Metrolink 720 is loading passengers on Track 3. The Metrolink train will depart first, headed for Perris, with the S-LHGMEM following shortly thereafter. The westbound from Omaha has BNSF ES44AC 6170 and Dash 9-44CW 4083 up front, and ES44C4 8045 as the rear DPU. (Fullerton, California – March 4, 2025)
