Once, sometimes twice, a week, FNOR trots down the street running tangent in downtown Ocala to the end of the line near Candler. Today with 14 cars and all three of the active units on this branch. At one time, this line would have connected into the rest of what is the FCEN system at Leesburg, which would have branched off to Wildwood or Tavares. The memory is all you get now, but had the ROW remained, it could have been quite the network. The Leesburg branch was torn out over 20 years ago, last serving storage cars. Overheard three people walking out of the Hilton across the street, remarking on the rails in the street, wondering if it was still used as there was so much signage.
