| I havent seen that many photos on RP from the Meadow Valley Wash in Rainbow Canyon near Caliente, NV which is both unfortunate and understandable. It is a rather remote area and traffic levels are sparse. Additionally, anyone who has ever tried photographing in a canyon knows that windows of decent lighting can be short.
I spent a few days running up and down the dirt roads trying to capture some action on the former LA&SL, now Union Pacific's Caliente Subdivision. I was fortunate to catch a westbound Z train popping out of one of the tunnels and crossing the wash just (timetable) west of Kyle.
