Passenger Street Running Everyday. On the morning of March 29, 2022, Amtrak Capital Corridor Train 527 was arriving in Oakland, California as it traveled down Embarcadero West in Jack London Square with CDTX 2104 (SC44, Siemens) leading. The tracks in this location have been in the middle of the street since the Southern Pacific days, and see freight, commuter, and long distance passenger service on a daily basis. The Amtrak Coast Starlight would follow a short time after this train.
