Remarks & Notes

Union Pacific GP38-2s 826 and 833, power for locals, sit in Lexington. These two locomotives were built one month apart in 1981 for the Missouri Pacific (UP 826 was originally MP 2326 and UP 833 was MP 2333). Separated by just seven numbers their whole careers, these two Geeps are back together a mere 36 years after being built. (Lexington, Nebraska – August 19, 2017)
