      Remarks & Notes
Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe Railway F7A 257L, one of their freight F-Units, was built by EMD in May 1951. In October 1973, it was rebuilt in the ATSF's Cleburne (TX) Shops into CF7 2548, seen here working a cut of cars at the Railway's Hobart Yard, just a few miles south of downtown Los Angeles. In June 1987, ATSF 2548 would be sold to National Railway Equipment Company, which would sell it a month later to the Columbus & Greenville Railway in Mississippi, where it became CAGY 806. (Vernon, California – April 11, 1974)
