It strikes me that it's probably possible to track the history of the Paducah rebuild program by the appurtenances used on the excellent rebuilt units. The tri-lights replaced Pyle rotating lights, later there were none etc. Likewise there were various headlight configurations, air filters etc. In those days Central City was a major coal collection point.
