| CN ES44AC 3867 pulls Vancouver Intermodal Terminal, British Columbia to Brampton Intermodal Terminal, ON train Z11251 09 into the 6760 foot siding at Hillsport with 10770 feet of intermodal traffic. Several sidings have been extended across Northern Ontario over the past 15 years and a handful of key locations are used to double away trains to meet two sets of westbound oversiding trains. At Hillsport eastbound trains will often split in half using the former Manitouwadge Subdivision which extends much of the length of the siding and around the bend in the distance before being abandoned and turned into a forestry access bush road. |
