I don't remember a lot of Chicago to KC Q-trains running, so I think this was a little odd for 1995. Also odd was how the Santa Fe found the CNW 6564 unit. The 6564 was the one-off that was rebuilt by the CNW in January 1986 as an SD40R with a 16-cylinder, 3000 HP prime mover. CNW power in 1995 on the Santa Fe was pretty odd, much less this oddball. The train passes through Galesburg in the morning hours.
