I don't remember a lot of Chicago to KC Q-trains running, so I think this was a little odd for 1995. Also odd was how the Santa Fe found the CNW 6564 unit. The 6564 was the one-off that was rebuilt by the CNW in January 1986 as an SD40R with a 16-cylinder, 3000 HP prime mover. CNW power in 1995 on the Santa Fe was pretty odd, much less this oddball. The train passes through Galesburg in the morning hours. Scanned slide from 9-29-95.
