Remarks & Notes

The white face scheme sure looked great new. This became BN's scheme in 1989 to improve visibility. An eastbound freight is about to CTC Savanna and will either head east on the C&I or south on the Barstow Sub towards Galesburg. 2771 is only 5 months old from a fresh rebuild by EMD from the NS 2599 into a GP39E. Scanned negative from May 1993.
